Your Mind, Illuminated
Neuropsychiatric assessments for complex, creative thinkers who have never fit neatly into a category.

You've always sensed you were wired differently. You see patterns in situations that others miss. You feel emotions more intensely than most.

Maybe you've struggled to connect with others. Maybe the things that come easily to you make your struggles invisible to everyone else.

You deserve a thorough, honest neuropsychiatric assessment that gives you a clear roadmap of your strengths, differences, and direction.

ASSESSMENT SERVICES
Neuropsychiatric
Assessment
This is a deep dive. Over the course of several weeks to months, we work through your story — your history, patterns, strengths, and areas of difference.

Every assessment begins with a two-hour interview into your neurodevelopmental history. From there, I design a testing battery tailored specifically to your referral question, and send carefully selected rating scales to you and any external observers whose perspective might be relevant. The process draws on clinical interviews, standardized testing, and historical records — every piece of information contributing to a larger narrative.

Testing itself takes approximately four hours, though I build in flexibility to adapt in real time as your story continues to unfold — and will add additional testing if a fuller picture is needed. Depending on your needs, results are provided as either a comprehensive written report or a summary letter. If you choose the full report, you will receive a portrait — rendered in data, written in depth, and shaped entirely around you.

We close with a one-hour feedback session — a dedicated conversation to walk through your results together, answer your questions, and make sure you leave with a clear and complete picture of who you are and where to go from here. Many clients describe the process as unexpectedly therapeutic because it is the first time their full story has been heard, mapped, and reflected back to them in a way that finally makes sense.

Profiles commonly explored include ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, giftedness, twice-exceptionality, and cognitive and processing differences that don't always have a tidy label. Every assessment is non-prescriptive, tailored to the individual, and conducted from a neurodiversity-affirming perspective.

This practice does not provide therapy, coaching, or ongoing medication management. Where those are needed, I am happy to connect you with trusted providers for continuing care. In some cases, I can also provide a medication recommendation plan to guide treatment with your primary care provider or a prescriber of your choosing — though outside providers are under no obligation to follow such recommendations, and I encourage you to discuss this with them in advance.

Reports can be used to support school or workplace accommodations.
Clients pay directly for this service. I do not bill insurance in any capacity. Superbills are available upon request for those who wish to seek reimbursement from their insurer independently.

In-person available for ages 7 and up in Santa Fe and Los Alamos, NM. Telehealth available for ages 18 and up in NM, NY, CT, and VT.
Reinterpretation of
Prior Testing

Sometimes an assessment has already been done — but the results never quite landed. A report sits in a drawer, full of scores that were never fully explained, or conclusions that didn't feel quite right.

This service takes an existing assessment and looks at it again — carefully, and through a different lens. What did the data actually show? What might have been missed? What is missing? What needs to be reframed? How do those findings connect to your lived experience?

Depending on your needs, this can take the form of a consultation or a full written reinterpretation.
