Neuropsychiatric Assessments for Bright, Complex Minds
Comprehensive, evidence-based assessments for gifted, twice-exceptional, neurodivergent teens and adults in New York, Connecticut, and Vermont.

You've always known you're different. Maybe you've been called "too much" or "too sensitive." Perhaps you've masked for years, excelling outwardly despite constant internal struggle. You might be exploring giftedness or twice-exceptionality, ADHD, autism, or learning differences—but you know there's more complexity to your story than a simple checklist can capture.

I specialize in neuropsychiatric assessment. My clients include gifted and twice-exceptional individuals dismissed as "not living up to their potential," ADHDers and dyslexics told they're "too smart" for their differences to be real, and autistic people dismissed as "too social" or too capable to need support. My assessments go beyond surface-level screening to understand how your mind works—and why traditional approaches and supports haven't served you.

You deserve answers that match the complexity of your experience. Let's talk about what a comprehensive assessment could reveal!

WHAT I ASSESS:

-
Cognitive complexity and asynchronous development, including gifted and twice-exceptional profiles
-
ADHD
-
Specific learning differences (including dyslexia and dyscalculia)
-
Nonverbal learning differences
-
Autism (especially masked or late-identified)
-
Social pragmatic communication differences

REMOTE & IN-PERSON TESTING:
I offer in-person and remote testing. Remote testing works exceptionally well for neurodivergent adults and older teens who:

-
Feel more comfortable in their own environment
-
Have sensory sensitivities to clinical settings
-
Need flexible scheduling around work/school
-
Want to avoid travel during unpredictable weather
-
Prefer the focus and clarity of one-on-one video assessment

For fully remote assessments, I use evidence-based cognitive and academic measures with standardized protocols designed for telehealth practice. This ensures you receive a comprehensive full-scale IQ score and detailed cognitive profile with the same depth and rigor as in-person testing.

In-person testing will resume this spring in Westport and New Canaan, CT, and Manhattan, NY. As the assessment process involves multiple stages over a two-to-three-month period, I encourage prospective clients to reach out early to secure their preferred timeline.
